The New Year has started and so has the season. I'm currently in Australia preparing for the Open. I spent New Year's in Miami this year with my friends. It felt nice for a change, not to arrive in Australia on New Year's Eve (alone and jet lagged) to wait and ring in the year.

The weather has been relatively cool here considering the scorching temperatures expected during the summer. I've already had a few good practices including with my doubles partner Kirilenko. I'm looking forward to a productive week here in Sydney and definitely fired up to play in Melbourne as well.

The latest news I have to share with you is my latest clothing sponsor as of 2012. I'm now wearing and part of the Fila team. I'm extremely pleased with the latest collection I've been given to wear. The clothes fit fantastic. They are super comfortable and soft. I'm sure you will all like it. I can't say enough great things about this new collaboration.

Recently, one of my mentors recommended that someone on my team carry and use a video camera to record my practices and matches when possible. It would assist with many things and give us a valuable library of my career with other players. Therefore, my manager just recently purchased one and brought it on the trip here.

We plan to record some practices and some clips of my work outs on site so stay tuned. Hopefully we will be able to upload some of it and share them with you on my website. Thank you for all your continued support through out the years.
